The total amount of donations by public companies in Israel in 2024 reached NIS 680 million.
Main findings:
- The total amount of donations by public companies in Israel in 2024 increased by approximately NIS 86 million compared to the previous year, reaching NIS 680 million. This represents a 14% increase, following an unprecedented 41% increase in total donations by public companies in 2023 compared to 2022.
- The ten public companies with the largest contributions accounted for 62% of total donations by public companies.
- Nearly all of the increase in donations in 2024 resulted from higher contributions by three of the largest banks. This increase offset a decline in donations by many other companies: 112 companies reduced their donations in 2024, compared to fewer than 64 companies that reduced their donations in each of the previous three years.
